April Dump

Storytime...

See ehn😂, I already promised myself that there wouldn't be a newsletter for you guys this April because my month was filled with conflicting emotions and I went from 0-100, 100-0, a number of times just in 30 days. Fortunately, something clicked this evening and I had the idea to tell you guys a story, to give you a dump of how my April went, and maybe get you to write back and share your April dump with me in words. 💀

The first week went well. After years of dreaming to use a locs extension, I finally decided to let go of my anxieties about locs and made my first locs. If my hair is unaffected, I'll do it more often, just maybe...

I also visited Bower's Tower in Ibadan with friends. I enjoyed it. enjoyed it completely. That outing was a typical example of "finally the outing left the group chat" because we had been talking about it since last year. 😂

Eeeii, second week, I saw shege, omooo!!!🥺

Meanwhile, before I talk about the "shege" I saw , for those of you who don't know, April is my birth month.😌🥰

I started receiving birthday gifts before my birthday, sweet right?!🥺

Anyway, I had exams to write the following week. If you're curious as to why I was writing exams in April, ask my school instead. 😏🌚

Then, on Tuesday, after finishing two papers, the rain decided to beat me. I'm allergic to cold , I fell sick almost immediately, I had to leave school, meanwhile I still had papers to write later that week, the struggle. Let me boast your bubbles, I took six drips within 24hours, call me superwoman but I still wrote the remaining papers anyway.

Birthday week, yay! On my birthday, which was on Monday, I spent the entire day indoors because I had something important to do the following day and literally ate well, thanks to my sponsors, took pictures, hahaha, my birthday selfies blew up on Twitter, lmao. I had a great day reading messages and receiving more gifts, but I think my favorite part of the day was getting prayed for at the end by one of my faves.😊 I genuinely look forward to receiving prayers every year, and I love it so much. This is the part where I pray for everyone who made my day special. May God keep you and grant you an abundance of good things. Thank you for brightening my day and making me smile.

Oh my gosh! For my birthday, I received packs of Maltina from the Maltina brand; they arrived later that week. Everyone who knows me well is aware of my love for Maltina😂 and how much I have influenced those around me. Therefore, it was a gift that was well deserved. 🤗

I feel like I covered a lot of my April highlights, so this newsletter is coming to an end soon.. I attended two birthday parties in April.🎉😀

NF released an Album in April called HOPE! Absolutely a favorite!

Because I had a lot going on at once and grew weary of replying to texts for the first time, I ghosted a lot of people this past week. I shook myself back up sha. 😩

Before I go, just one more thing: I had a great time in church this month. I didn't go today though, but something interesting happened the previous time, I'd share later. 🤗

I know most of you will probably read this tomorrow which is a new month but regardless, I sent it in April, that's what matters. 😂😂
