Eleven Days In: A Check-In
It's me again...
Hey you,
How have you been? How is the year treating you so far? I know, we’re barely eleven days in, but still, I genuinely want to know. Don’t worry, I’ll tell you how mine has been too, even though I really shouldn’t be writing to you tonight. I have exams to write for the most part of the week, but my hands have been itching to write. Btw, I’m almost at the finish line of this long race(what a journey!), say a prayer for me.
The past ten days have been eventful, miraculous, and wonderfully spontaneous.
Most days, I start out in one place and somehow end up somewhere entirely different by evening. And honestly, it’s been for the best. It’s opened my mind to the power of possibilities, to taking risks, testing waters, and moving boldly in the direction God is leading.
One lesson I’ve relearned (again) is the importance of speaking up. Sometimes, the answer to the problem you’re praying about is already in someone’s hands. But until you speak, you may never receive it. Of course, discernment and discretion matter, knowing who to talk to is just as important as talking at all.
I’ve also been able to see friends and family I haven’t been around in a while, planned and unplanned meetings alike. And you know, that’s one of my favorite things in the world: being with my people.
If I didn’t make souvenirs for my brand last year, I’d probably be beating myself right now. Some of the vendors I patronise, especially the ones that really chopped my money, have been overwhelming me with gifts. It honestly warmed my heart and made me understand how my customers must have felt every time they said thank you for the gifts and discounts.
So, if you haven’t received anything from 1704 yet, it’s not on me 👀
Send a DM or place an order, let me dispatch yours too.
One thing I really came here to say is this, God is more than willing to guide and lead you on the right path this year. All that’s required is alignment with His will and the courage to shut out every other noise. (Yes, I’m talking to myself too.)
God truly has the greatest sense of humor.(I say this every time) I started the year with so many questions, unsure of how things would unfold, and now it’s wild to see how everything is turning out, differently, and beautifully.
Another reminder: make kindness and gratitude a daily practice.
Random yeah, but I deleted some of my playlists and created a new one. The title? Oh… never mind, I can’t mention it. Somehow, it reminds me of something. Let’s just say it’s also one of my favorite Snapchat filters right now; like a passcode. I’ve been adding my current gospel (declarations) songs to it, and now that I’ve said this out loud, it’s officially going on private.
Anyhoo, I really should get back to my academic books.
Stay safe, no, genuinely, stay alive. Keep grinding, remember to rest while at it, and please check your blood pressure sometime this week.
Leave a comment, okay? Tell me something, I want to hear from you.🙈😌
Love you.
See you in about 21 days.❤️
