Hey!
Listen,
here’s to you,
to us…
It's Friday, and the weekend has arrived again. You might be excited for the opportunity to rest, or perhaps not, since every day of the week feels like a workday to you. "Rest, where?" Or maybe you don't fit into either category because lately, the days of the week don't really matter – they're all just another day.
This morning, I'm writing to you spontaneously as usual, but this time with a twist(If I say so myself, lol). I don't know where this piece will lead, but I hope it makes sense to you in the end. This isn't meant to be a motivational piece—or maybe it is. Whatever it turns out to be for you, know that I wrote it specially for you, and I hope it finds you well.
I know lately you've been feeling tired, uncertain, confused, overwhelmed, or maybe even a little lost. Adulthood can do that to you, to us. It's about struggling to maintain relationships, managing anxiety, working multiple jobs, and trying to stay sane, often at the cost of our mental health.
I know there are times when you feel like a failure. You work hard, dedicate time, and make sacrifices to fuel your passions, but sometimes, it seems like all your efforts amount to nothing. The results just aren't there. And let's not even start with how your country has become a contributing factor to why you feel like a failure, despite your skills and potential.
To be honest, I don't want to bore you or remind you of your sorrows. I just want to say a few things.
I hope you find peace even in the stormy times you're facing. Remember, seasons come and go, and there's more ahead for you. I'm proud of you, even if I don't say it enough. Never forget that God doesn't forget His sons and daughters. Be grateful for where you are right now, while you hope and work for the better days ahead. There's a young girl out there who is inspired by you and prays for your smooth journey.
I hope you stop feeling disappointed and alone and see how strong you are. Remember, failing doesn't mean it's the end—it's just a step on your journey to getting better.
I hope you find a space for happiness even in your sadness, just as I have recently discovered about myself. ❣
I hope you always remember that I am proud of you and I’m forever rooting for you. 🥂
