Hey you,
Navigating adulthood one step at a time has made me realize something this year: life is a strange mix of balance, a kind of crazy equilibrium.
I'm sharing this based not just on my own experiences but also on conversations I’ve had with friends.
Life blesses you with the good and hardly allows you to breathe before the bad happens.
Isn’t it wild how you can be in a moment of joy, celebrating your wins, only for something unpleasant to come along and almost steal that happiness, making you forget that you were just in a season of celebration?
Sometime last year, probably on New Year’s Eve, I remember PIE sharing some words about this very thing. He prayed for the strength to overcome challenges, reminding us that unexpected things will happen and not everything will go our way. Yet, despite it all, we would come out stronger and better. He also reminded us that God is never far away; He is always there, ready to be sought in every season.
I think I unconsciously held on to that, and honestly, it has kept me grounded for the most part of this year. Oh! I overcame every single thing I thought would end me. Still, it’s crazy how life can offer a safe haven while simultaneously throwing you curveballs. It’s a chaotic balance, but one we learn to live with while allowing God to walk with us in every season.
